The Social Innovation Fund (SIF) has announced that will provide up to $11.2 million in grants for eligible nonprofit organizations and city and state governments for pay-for-success (PFS) programs in low-income communities.
The grants will range from $200,000 to $1.8 million each year over three years. As with other SIF grants, grant dollars must be matched on a dollar-for-dollar basis with non-federal dollars and services.
Grants will fund one of two primary activities: (1) technical assistance to assess project feasibility and develop capacity; or (2) to help cover the cost of structuring PFS transactions.
Applications are due on July 31 and successful applicants will be notified by September 30. The NOFA is here.
